1 Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using OG Outlier ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.
These terms apply to:
- The OG Outlier Chrome Extension
- The ogoutlier.online website
- Any related services or communications
2 Description of Service
OG Outlier is a Chrome browser extension that analyzes engagement metrics on Facebook feeds to identify trending and viral content. The Extension operates locally on your device using mathematical scoring algorithms.
3 License & Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use OG Outlier for your personal or business use subject to these terms.
- Use the Extension for personal or commercial purposes
- Use the free tier indefinitely
- Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan anytime
- Deactivate your license to transfer to another device
- Share, sell, or transfer your license key to others
- Attempt to reverse engineer the Extension
- Use the Extension to scrape or collect Facebook data
- Circumvent the device activation restrictions
- Use one license on multiple devices simultaneously
- Resell or sublicense the Extension
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
4 Free Tier
The free tier of OG Outlier is available at no cost and includes:
- 20 posts analyzed per day
- Basic trending detection
- 1 Chrome installation
We reserve the right to modify free tier limits with 30 days notice via Chrome Web Store update notes.
5 Pro Plans & Payments
5.1 Pricing
Pro Monthly: $4.99 per month per Chrome installation
Pro Annual: $39.99 per year per Chrome installation
Prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes.
5.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Freemius. By purchasing a Pro plan you also agree to Freemius Terms of Service at freemius.com/terms. We never store your payment information.
5.3 Billing
- Monthly plans are billed every 30 days
- Annual plans are billed once per year
- Billing date is set from your first purchase date
5.4 Automatic Renewal
Pro plans automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email from Freemius before renewal.
5.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro plan at any time via:
- Your Freemius account dashboard
- Emailing us at bhushanchhaya@gmail.com
After cancellation your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds for unused periods.
5.6 Refund Policy
6 Device Activation & License
6.1 Single Device Policy
Each license activates on exactly one Chrome installation at a time.
6.2 Device Transfer
You may deactivate your license from one device and reactivate on another at any time via the Extension popup → License → Deactivate This Device.
6.3 License Sharing
Sharing your license key with others is a violation of these terms and may result in immediate license revocation without refund.
6.4 License Revocation
We reserve the right to revoke licenses found to be shared, sold, or used in violation of these terms.
7 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use OG Outlier to:
- Violate Facebook or Meta Terms of Service
- Automate actions on Facebook
- Collect or harvest user data from Facebook
- Engage in any illegal activity
- Interfere with Facebook's normal operation
8 Disclaimer of Warranties
OG Outlier is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all Facebook layouts
- Accuracy of viral/trending predictions
- Continued availability of the service
Facebook frequently changes their interface and we cannot guarantee the Extension will always function perfectly after Facebook updates.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OG Outlier and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Data loss or corruption
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim
10 Facebook & Meta Disclaimer
OG Outlier is an independent third-party tool.
- Not created by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Meta Platforms Inc. or Facebook
- Facebook and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms Inc.
- Use of OG Outlier does not imply any relationship with Meta or Facebook
- Users are responsible for ensuring their use complies with Facebook's own Terms of Service
11 Intellectual Property
OG Outlier, its code, design, branding, and content are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
The name "OG Outlier", logo, and tagline "Spot viral before it spreads" are our property.
You may not use our branding without written permission.
12 Changes to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features with 30 days notice
- Update pricing for new subscribers (existing subscribers locked at their rate for 12 months)
- Update these Terms at any time
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via Chrome Web Store update notes and email (if we have your email via Freemius).
13 Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license immediately if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your license key is deactivated
- Pro features are immediately disabled
- No refund is issued for policy violations
You may terminate by uninstalling the Extension and cancelling your subscription.
14 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Gujarat, India.
For international users, we will attempt to resolve disputes amicably before any legal proceedings.
